Their story began in 1996 when they met in Cibolo. In October ’97 they ran into each other at a campout. Gilbert held Lynn’s hand while helping her across some rocks, and Lynn didn’t want to let go! They had their first date in January ’98 at Johnny’s Restaurant. Alas, 1999 sent them in different directions and different states. March 12, 2005, Gilbert found Lynn’s number and made the call. They racked up frequent caller minutes and became engaged June 2005. Years of romance will ultimately be expressed with their wedding on July 12, 2008.

Our wedding will be held in the Main Street Ballroom, a beautiful and historic two-story facility in downtown San Antonio. The ballroom has a wonderful view of Main Plaza (Plaza de las Islas) and San Fernando Cathedral. The ceremony will take place in the Santa Ana Room, the site where the General Santa Ana had his headquarters! The wedding will commence at 7:00 pm. Please plan to arrive early.

Our reception will also be held at the Main Street Ballroom on the second floor, just as soon as we finish taking pictures! We will start with dinner, toasts, and then getting our boogie on!

We will have a block of rooms at the Drury Plaza Riverwalk Hotel located 2 blocks from the ceremony. Check back for the group number and reservation information.
